CORONAVIRUS VOLUNTEERS AREN’T JUST A SOURCE OF FREE LABOUR – DON’T TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THEM

Professor Matt Baillie Smith contributed an article in ‘The Conversation’ entitled ‘Coronavirus volunteers aren’t just a source of free labour – don’t take advantage of them’.

In this article he draws on insight from the early phases of the RYVU project and argues for greater attention to volunteering experiences in the global South when planning and developing volunteer responses to COVID-19.
